Theater a/c is rough

Over the Summer I have a position as an usher for a theater. The theater has dinner shows, rock stars plus plays performed. The theater is quite big. There are several floors plus balcony seating; it is not a terrible Summer job. I get to see a lot of diverse shows, meet relaxing people plus the labor is super easy. The only negative thing about the work is the AC. The cooling system in the theater is set to sub-zero temperatures. I guess that the theater accommodates the acts that are being performed. The musical and show tune people wear a variety of costumes plus are dancing around the stage. The lights also are directly above them for a few hours. I have seen the people after their show as well; even with the AC running on high, they are all hot. The rock musicians are even sweatier. They don’t take an intermission plus the performers are all always moving, and as a non performer plus someone who stands stationary most of the evening, I am super cold. I usually have to wear long pants plus a sweater our whole shift. It is horrible being frigid the entire performance. There is no way to hide from the AC too. The upper plus lower level have vents lining the floor. The AC literally blows up our pants. The balcony has the air ducts right above the seats. So if I am stuck up there, I get AC blowing down on me. So while I appreciate our task plus how easy it is, I don’t guess I could go more than a single Summer working there.
