I was having a rough time trying to figure out what kind of home office furniture I wanted for our new home. I had moved away from our parents home, and I bought a small beach house of our own. I was twenty-multiple, so I thought it was time. My home office wasn’t overly large, in our new home, but I wanted something that was going to last me a lifetime, and that I could take into our marriage, when or if our boyfriend ever asked me. I looked into magazine that talked about Custom Furniture, and a wide range of Draperies and Bedding. Some of them were entirely gorgeous, but way too expensive for me. I was at an auction a single afternoon, and someone had just brought in the most charming home office set I had ever seen. I was afraid it was going to be way out our price range, but I had to rest there and put a bid in on it. They called it Old World Estate and there was this charming bed, master chest, drawer dresser and a mirror. The auction said how it cathedral cherry veneer, good herringbone inlay with burnished edges and hand rubbed fonts. I had no proposal what that meant, but I was in love with the home office suit and I knew I had to have it. I waited until he was on the eighth going before I put up our hand and I bid everything that I had planned on spending on our home office. I’m not sure why most people else stopped bidding, but I’m happy they did. I had to call our brother and get his truck to take it home.
