I have lived on the east coast my whole life and after years of me of growing up, going to college, graduating college, and working in my trade for more than a decade it is time for something different. I was recently presented with a desirable position with a firm in my industry on the other side of the country. Essentially, I will be moving from one coast to the other. I am very excited for this new adventure, however it is kind of frightening. I will definitely need to get used to the different ways of life out on the west coast that just doesn’t occur too much here. I assume the people will be pretty mellow at first and that will be pretty frustrating at first, but something I will have no issues getting used to. I know it will grow on me because I do love people. The weather will be a significant change for me in most ways. Of course the seasons like winter and summer will still be there, but where I’m going will experience something like summer on a dryer and less humid level. I assume that means I will be using the gas furnace considerably less than I do now. That is without a doubt something I am looking forward to. I am good with not having to be cooped up for a few months of the year with the gas furnace blasting just to stay warm. There is also the issue of air quality with weather love that. The air filter for the Heating plus A/C idea is way dirtier after a Winter of closed doors and gas furnace use than in the Summer. It will be a nice change to be in warm and sunny weather throughout the year!
