This is what I planned

I am always on the lookout for cool new apps to improve my life. There are so many handy digital inventions right at the tips of our fingers these days, and it only takes a little research to find the most beneficial ones. That’s why I’m extremely excited about the new white noise machine app that I downloaded on my phone! It comes highly recommended for people who suffer from insomnia, and I fall into that category. The app has a ton of peaceful sounds to choose from, including everything from rain fall to whale calls to birds whistling. I really love to experiment with the various tunes, and find that my sleep and dreams are severely affected by the different options. I’m finding, however, that the best background noise for highest quality sleep is a simple box fan. For as long as I can remember, I’ve slept with a fan running while I slept. I am extremely sensitive to the indoor air quality when I lay down for some shut eye, so I tend to make my room very cold and breezy before I close my peepers. This has always included an overhead fan, and usually the addition of a smaller free standing fan to create excellent indoor air circulation and lower the air temperature a bit. The thing is, over time, apparently I’ve become a bit too reliant on the continual hum of several fans. Even with my fancy new white noise app, I get the highest quality sleep when I have a team of ventilation fans surrounding my bed.
