Traveling and the a/c

I’m not a huge fan of all the hustle and bustle required for getting around this big old world. In the right conditions, I suppose that I would really love the idea to labor for a corporation that required myself and others to travel. I’m just a single woman with no youngsters, so there’s really nothing too major that is binding myself and others to one locale right now at this particular time, and the chance to see new things on a proper basis would be really nice for us. The only thing I would worry about would be making sure the business hotels were regularly decent. I can’t tell you how several times I’ve accidentally ended up in poor hotels, and they have completely ruined an entire travel experience. The most memorable time really came one day when I arrived in a room to find that it didn’t have a modern cooling system at all. I only  happened to have learned this after searching all over the room to find that there was no thermostat in the space. I called the front desk to see if there was another room that had a cooling system already up and running, but there wasn’t. I was stuck for the night with no way to cool off. For someone that honestly is used to running the cooling system at full speed while in the length of the mornings this was a real challenge. The next afternoon, I worked right on out of that hotel early and found a new one that was located a few blocks away. Now, this is something that I regularly ask about in advance at any point when I’m traveling. I have to because otherwise I’d be miserable with the experience.
