I deal in real estate for my living and have found it to be a wild and bendy business. I have dealt with every kind of real estate imaginable including vacant lots, homes, townhouses, and farms. Farms and farmland are particularly interesting, but can also be actually dull and boring. They are boring about 99 percent of the time because all you are doing is buying up some empty farmland that Grandma or Grandpa bequeathed in her will and hastily flipping it over to a large farming corporation. I appreciate the buying and selling of the land to just acting as an agent because there is far more profit in selling something you own as opposed to selling something someone else owns! Only recently I had a single of those interesting cases where I was selling the farm to a large family that wanted to compete against the corporate model. Call them crazy, but it takes real guts to go into a battle prefer that, so I decided to supply them a wonderful deal. The farming home was pretty trashed so I had some companies come in and fix things up. I had to install a oil furnace and a new cooling system as there were neither in the building. How does a person not even have an oil furnace in their house? The Heating, Ventilation and A/C work had to be installed from the ground up and ended up costing quite a few thoUSAnd. To be fair, I took a bath on that sale. I provided them such a wonderful deal in comparison to the money I put into it with the Heating, Ventilation and A/C work as well as the electrical and other stuff. Totally worth it though to see someone take on the large dogs.
