This past week, the gas furnace went out in our dwelling.
I was cheerful that it was Spring plus the two of us certainly didn’t need to have the gas furnace running at that particular time.
Both of us got a hold of the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C appliance supplier plus they sent a representative out to the dwelling. The first thing he did was to take measurements of the dwelling. He asked a lot of questions about the amount of people in the dwelling plus what the two of us wanted from our Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C appliance supplier. I started telling him all the things I had heard about. I wanted the humidifier plus dehumidifier. I wanted a nice air purification system plus I wanted to have those crucial air filters so the two of us could be bacteria plus allergen free. The last thing I certainly wanted was to have a Smart Thermostat connected to our HVAC appliance. The Smart Thermostat was the only thing that the two of us easily agreed on. My hubby was considering installing a ductless mini split Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C appliance. He said the two of us could throw away the ductwork plus the gas furnace from the basement plus it would remove all of the clutter. The Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C appliance tech was kind of laughing at us, but he told us it was a crucial decision plus he easily had some answers if the two of us came up with any questions. I had a feeling he would be sitting there for a couple nights. Both of us were talking about a geothermal when the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C appliance tech chimed in that the geothermal would work, however since the two of us already had our dwelling in place, it would be truly costly to install this type of HVAC appliance. He also volunteered that a heat pump would not task in this freezing weather. Both of us would always be relying on a secondary source of heat. He had abruptly narrowed down our choices.
