We should turn the thermostat down

I recently started working out at a new gym and it’s pretty great for the most part. It has a really nice big area for free weights, which was the main thing that I was looking for since I try to do a lot of powerlifting. It also has a smoothie bar and an indoor track, which I never use but I guess that it’s nice to have. The main thing that concerns me about the new gym is the fact that it’s always cold in there. They seem to consistently have the gym’s thermostat set at around 68 degrees in the summertime, and I have a hard time working up a sweat when the air conditioning is running full blast all the time! And the A/C is just about always running in there! I mean, I’ll be trying to get my bench pressing done and there’s cold air blowing right down on me from the air conditioning vents in the ceiling up above me! It’s really distracting to someone like me who is trying to work up a sweat. Maybe most people don’t want to sweat and that’s why they keep the temperature turned down so low. I don’t know, but in my opinion, you really have to sweat to get much out of a workout. If you’re not sweating, then what’s the point of lifting weights or doing cardio? I would hate to have to find a new gym over something as simple as too much air conditioning, but that’s what it looks like it’s going to come down to.
