I am really a stickler on saving cash. I try to do everything I can think of that saves me currency, then however, I don’t see not spending currency as saving currency. That would be like not boosting up the oil in your car because you wanted to save currency. The ends wouldn’t justify the means at all, but every once in a while you have to spend a little bit of currency upfront to save you on costs in the end. When it comes to our energy bill, there are several things I have done that keep the savings coming in. When it comes to our energy bill I do whatever I can do to split the costs of running our Heating and A/C unit. One of my favorite investments I have made is upgrading to a programmable thermostat, and for me, this has meant not having to keep increasing my thermostat every single time I leave the condo. I have a pretty official schedule, so there aren’t a lot of times where I have to readjust what I have our thermostat set for. I also never have to stress out about increasing our thermostat late at night when the temperature outside naturally cools off. I also have bluetooth wi-fi that allows me to adjust our thermostat from our smartphone. The monthly savings I notice on using our heating and cooling idea has been really noticeable. I would say the programmable thermostat saves me around 15% on our energy bill each week. I also keep up with the repair on our Heating and A/C equipment. This means every other week I have a certified service corporation ensure our Heating and A/C machine is running at an optimal level year round.
